I find decisions of the European Court of Human Rights to be just somewhat laughable. Polish parent who sued his government in the court in Strasburg for negligence by Polish justice system in enforcing his visitation rights was awarded astronomical amount of ..2000 euros. (that translates roughly to $2500!) . This includes all expenses that this poor father had to endure when fighting with the Polish apparatus of judges and social agencies.
It looks that the judges of this court believe that the European socialist governments have the right to screw their citizens, and any awarded penalties have no real meaning. The question for these judges is: What is the incentive for Poland and other governments to fix their bureaucratic incompetence? Your leniency?
And Europeans have this superiority thing towards America and its system how funny.
