Thanks to Child Quest Case Manager, Melissa Smith, a nine-month search for
two young brothers ended on March 24, 2004 in Tijuana, Mexico.
Due to her persistency and excellent investigative skills, Melissa tracked
their non-custodial mother to San Diego after she fled La Vista, Nebraska
with the boys to avoid apprehension. With the help of Robert Jaehnig of
“RecoverKid”, an attorney and expert in interstate recovery, Melissa’s
valuable tips were conveyed to the FBI who led law enforcement to the San
Diego/Tijuana area. James and Tyler are healthy and happy to be back home
with their father.
